One Week Marketing Review

One Week Marketing is a step by step action plan created by Wealthy Affiliates University alumni Jennifer, also known as Pot Pie Girl. Rather than trying to proclaim itself as a revolutionary new idea in the world of internet marketing, it is designed to help you set daily tasks to maximize your marketing efforts.

It’s easy to write articles or Squidoo Lenses over and over but not knowing how to maximize your time effectively can keep you from improving your page rankings and getting more real targeted traffic to your site. It’s hard to convert site visitors into buyers without this traffic, and this is where the One Week Marketing program steps in.

The One Week Marketing program focuses on writing Squidoo lenses, but it can also pertain to other types of article writing. Many marketers who write articles and Squidoo lenses have no real understanding of how to make these processes work for them. But the One Week Marketing program gives you a checklist of things to do everyday. No more wasting time, no more guessing. The program tells you what to do and when to do it over a seven day period. Following the ideas presented can help you with your page rank as well as your placement on Google’s front page. Your traffic can increase and your sales can go up with a minimal cash up-front requirement.

Pot Pie Girl is a successful internet marketing strategist and has spent a long time building workable programs for use in the online marketing world. With her One Week Marketing plan she has another hit to add to her arsenal. Just keep in mind that the free methods researched in the program require work, time and persistence. It can work well for someone who wants a successful online business without having to shell out thousands of dollars and who has the patience to follow through.

The #1 Secret for Ranking Your Website

A few days ago, I shared with you step by step instructions on how to build Search Engine Friendly content on your website.  After you have accomplished these “on-page” factors; you need to focus your energy on the “off-page” factors for dominating the Google results!

The most powerful way to get your website ranked highly in Google and other search engines is through link building.  In other words, the more other websites link to your website, the better your site will rank.

However, not all links are created equal. If you can get an “authority” site like CNN.com or Wikipedia.org to link to your site it will help much more than if your brother’s personal blog links to you. So, if you can find sites that end in .edu or .gov to link to your site; that would be great!  Make sense?

Some other important factors to remember when sites link to yours:

* Sites on the same topic are better
* Avoid too many links from one site
* One way links are better than reciprocal links
* Anchor text is important
* Links from a .edu or .gov or other authority sites are great

Getting links to your website is very important and I propose that it is the MOST important factor to ranking your site well

Here are a few ways that you can get links to your website.

* Have useful content on your site (this will make other website owner’s want to link to you)
* Use social bookmarking to let other people know about your website
* Use sites like Squidoo, Hubpages, eHow, and others
* Submit articles to article directories (include your link in the author box)
* Post videos on YouTube.com or other video sharing sites
* Comment on other blogs or websites
* Answer questions on Yahoo Answers
* Give other website owners articles to place on their website
* Ask website owners to link to your site (this will probably get a very low response rate, so only use with caution).

There are many other ways to get links, but using just these will really give your website a big boost. If done correctly, these methods will get your site to the number 1 spot on Google!

The big secret to ranking in Google? It takes work!  As simple as the previous list looks, I can guarantee you that 99% of website owners will never get links from most of those places.  So, I would keep this email handy when you are trying to figure out how to get a top spot in Google.

Okay, now that I have told you that it takes a lot of work; I am going to also tell you that its possible to skip alot of that work. That’s right, you can actually still rank well in Google without doing alot of the work that I just described.  How can you do it then?

You have to use the right tools.

There are a couple of automated tools to help you build backlinks that I use on a regular basis.  In my next couple of emails I am going to share with you 2 of these tools.  So, be on the look out. (Hint: If you can’t wait, you can browse through the listings on Redfox Rebates under internet marketing tools and software; they are both listed there!)

Also, note that all tools are not created equal; I will share with you the ones that have worked for me and help you avoid the ones that don’t.

Marketing on the Fringe Review

(For a limited time, you can get 25% cash back from RedfoxRebates.com.  Just register for free, purchase the product through the members area, and we will pay you via PayPal…that’s it!)

So what is this new Marketing on the Fringe? Is it really a successful way to get higher traffic your site or is it just another internet scam? Marketing on the Fringe was designed by an experienced web marketer in order to solve problems with attracting traffic. This traffic system tutorial is consisted of several different training and informational video tutorials.

Audio files and eBooks are available in order to help quickly deliver this information to you so that you can dramatically increase the volume of traffic to you personal website. This system helps you learn a way to create automated systems that will concentrate web traffic to the desired site. Some reports indicate this new method is successful enough to pay attention, just try Googling it and you can see both sides of the story from multiple perspectives.

The basic idea is this. Traffic machines are generated. These are websites designed for nothing but the function of drawing more traffic towards the target site. Traffic machines should be fairly simple sites than can be produced quickly and efficiently, usually within one day, and are usually simple but developed with effective content.

In the past many people created similar sites that served the same purpose; the only problem was that these first sites were too aggressive and drew attention. Popular search engines would ban these sites and new ones would need to be rebuilt on a continual basis. This costs time and resources, which translates into a loss of assets, and no one wants that.

The new method practice by Marketing on the Fringe aims to be aggressive enough to be effective while not drawing this sort of negative attention. The result is the website is not banned and continues to draw traffic. This opens up extra time on the producer’s part to build other websites if there is still a need for increased traffic.

Marketing on the Fringe claims to go beyond the casual assistance to deliver one-on-one phone coaching through the telephone. The offer is accompanied by a money back guarantee and the author claims only 500 copies will be available for distribution. If this is as limited as successful as the author claims to be, then it might be worth looking into for those that are interested in increasing traffic to their websites.

Email Subject Line Tips - How to Write an Effective Email Title

Without a title or subject line, many e-mails will go dismissed or end up lost in people’s endless amounts of spam mail. In the fast paced world we live in, set backs like that can’t be afforded. That is why there are a few effective tips to utilize in order to make sure your e-mail gets read and gets read promptly.

If you are e-mailing something that was requested, name the requested item right in your subject line. i.e. “Lisa’s Patient File.” If you are e-mailing someone who you know gets inundated with these types of e-mails, make sure to let them know that they requested it as well as when they requested it. For example, “Per Your Request 8/18: Lisa’s Patient File.”

If you are looking to ask a question, make sure you do not simply put what your question is about. For instance, a question about writing e-mails should not have the subject line, “Writing e-mails.” Without any previous context, the recipient may pass it up simply out of confusion. Instead, let the recipient know your e-mail has a question in it, such as, “Question Regarding How to Write an E-Mail.”

For quick questions, such as asking someone if they want to go to lunch or meet up after work, utilize the efficiency of the subject line. “Are you free for lunch?” or “Would you like to meet up for dinner?” are great titles that will both grab the attention of the recipient as well as spare them the few seconds it would take to open the e-mail simply to read a one line question. Since all e-mails require some form of content, feel free to give more details about the question you asked within the body of the e-mail.

Finally, e-mails that require immediate attention should utilize strong commanding phrases as well as exclamation marks rather than all capital letters. Many people find all capital letters to be off-putting and if you are working in a professional office, the last thing you want to do is look off-putting. Instead, use strong and commanding phrases such as “Read Immediately!” or “Look Over ASAP!” If you are in an office setting and are e-mailing a supervisor or manager, make sure that you are “asking” them for their immediate attention. For instance, “Requesting Your Immediate Attention!”

The worst thing you could possibly do is forget to write anything in the subject line. Nothing gets passed up or deleted more than e-mails with “no subject.” Even though the subject line is often the most neglected aspect of the e-mail it may just be the most important. Just like with trying to get a job, without a cover letter, no one will ever look at your resume.
